For a long time, it was a private seaside home, lived in calmly and lovingly by those who chose it as a summer retreat over the years. And that's exactly what you feel as soon as you enter: not a meticulously crafted space, but a home steeped in history, care, and a genuine sense of welcome.

The style is classic and retro, with that "old-world" feel that's increasingly rare today: elegant details, bright atmospheres, spaces designed for true well-being. This isn't the impersonal perfection of identical accommodations: here, there's character, warmth, and a discreet familiarity that makes you immediately feel right at home.

Today, this home has been made available to you, preserving its identity intact: a simple and reassuring place where vacation becomes natural. 🔑 ACCESS TO THE HOUSE (EXCLUSIVE, BUT IN A RESIDENTIAL CONTEXT)

Marina Guest House is located within a residence with other nearby homes.

Access from the main gate is shared with the other residents/guests of the complex, but once you enter the house is all yours:

• exclusive access to the entire apartment
• all the spaces and services are completely dedicated to you
• the spaces described in the advert are for private use, for a quiet and interference-free stay

In practice: you only share the entrance to the residence... the rest is yours alone.

🅿️ PARKING (TWO RESERVED PARKING SPACES)

You will have 2 numbered parking spaces (5 and 6) available, right under the house, within the gated area.

Arrivals, parking, and the holiday already starts off lighter.


⏰ OPENING HOURS

• Check-in: from 3:00 pm onwards
• Check-out: by 10:00

(Late check-out is possible only if available and agreed upon in advance.)


🔑 CHECK-IN: IN PRESENCE OR KEY COLLECTION

Whenever possible, check-in takes place in person by 9:00 PM so we can welcome you and explain everything to you in a relaxed manner.

If you arrive later, or if you prefer to be completely independent, we will indicate a convenient and safe place to collect the keys.

All instructions are sent before arrival, simply and clearly.

ℹ️ SOMETHING TO KNOW:

• Mosquitoes in the warm seasons
As in many seaside and countryside areas in Sicily, mosquitoes may be present during the summer months, especially in the evening.
We recommend keeping windows closed in the evening and, if desired, using personal repellents.

• Beach and neighborhood in high season
During the more central summer periods, the beach and the surrounding houses can be busier.
Despite this, the house maintains privacy and independence, inserted in an orderly and quiet residential context.

• Distance from home to “Renella Beach”
Renella Beach can be easily reached in about 5 minutes on foot.
The route is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back: doable, but to be considered especially during the hottest hours of the day.

🔑 PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR KEYS (a small thing, big peace of mind)

Please remember to always carry your keys with you, especially when you go out on the porch.

👉 If the door closes behind you, it cannot be reopened without the key.
Furthermore, to enter/exit the stairs, the gate can only be opened with the key.
It's happened before, with guests relaxing on the veranda and leaving their keys and phone inside... and in that case, it becomes difficult to ask for help, even from us hosts.

✅ So: always keep your keys in your pocket (and, if possible, your phone too), so your holiday stays worry-free.

⚠️ MOVEMENTS AND MOBILITY

🚗 A car is recommended for easy access to Sciacca's city center, beaches, and main attractions, given the house's quiet and private location.
🚌 The local bus operates only during certain time slots and on limited routes.
🚕 Private taxis available (❌ Uber or similar services not available)

🛏️ USE OF 2ND ROOM (bookings for 2 guests)

If there are two of you and you'd like to use the second bedroom, please let us know in advance so we can prepare it as best as possible.

📜 HOUSE RULES TO KNOW AND ACCEPT BEFORE YOUR STAY:


📝 CONTRACT + 🆔 IDENTIFICATION (MANDATORY):

After booking you will receive:
• the Tourist Rental Agreement to be signed digitally — we use the written form as required for rental agreements (L. 431/1998, art. 1 c.4 + DL 50/2017).
• the Link for Document Registration (ID), necessary for communication to the PS authorities (art. 109 TULPS / Alloggiati Web).


🚭 SMOKING:

Smoking is prohibited inside the house (including e-cigarettes). Smoke detectors will sound the alarm.
✅ Smoking is permitted on the veranda/outdoor spaces.


🩴 CLEANING YOUR FEET WHEN YOU RETURN FROM THE BEACH:

Upon returning from the beach, it is mandatory to thoroughly clean your feet before entering the house and going up the stairs.
Sand on stairs can cause slips and compromise your safety and that of your neighbors.


🗑️ WASTE MANAGEMENT (MANDATORY):

Separate waste collection is mandatory and must be followed according to the municipal calendar.
You'll find everything in the house manual, and we'll explain it to you at check-in.
🚫 Never leave waste inside the house, for any reason (even for a few hours), to avoid odors and inconveniences.
🕗 Every evening, you must take the bins/bags outside the main gate, to the residence's collection area (you will find the large dedicated bins).
📅 Follow the calendar: it will help you dispose of waste correctly, day by day.


💧 WATER CONSUMPTION (CONSCIOUS USE):

We ask you to use water responsibly, avoiding waste and unnecessary consumption.
In Sicily, water is a precious resource, especially in the summer months: small changes make a big difference.

✅ Safety and regulatory compliance: The property complies with the legal provisions applicable to tourist/short-term rentals. The required safety devices (including fire extinguishers and combustible gas and carbon monoxide detection devices) are present, regularly maintained and inspected, as required by art. 13-ter, paragraph 7, of Legislative Decree 145/2023 (converted with amendments by Law 191/2023).
