✨ THE ESSENCE OF THE PLACE

This apartment nestles within the unique atmosphere of the three Monterotondo Holiday Homes, nestled in the quiet countryside of Sciacca. Here, vacations take on a different pace: less noise, more space, more air. It's a place that doesn't ask you to "do," but to "be." To slow down, breathe, and let go.

All around you are greenery, light, and that peace you immediately sense as soon as you arrive. Privacy is natural, effortless: you're far from the chaos and close to yourself. The days pass unhurriedly: an outdoor breakfast, a walk in nature, a book truly read, a pause that becomes meditation. This is the most intimate Sicily, the one that restores your balance.

And then there's the setting: between the sea view and the olive trees, the horizon accompanies every moment, from the first coffee until sunset. Fresh air, open spaces, true silence—the kind that makes you feel lighthearted.

🏖️ “ALMOST PRIVATE” BEACH

When you want real sea, there's a little ritual that makes everything more special. You descend along a dirt road, about 20 minutes downhill, immersed in the countryside: a simple route, with a pinch of adventure that prepares you for the reward.

Below, a wide, secluded beach awaits you, with sand and pebbles, and crystal-clear blue waters. It's a difficult-to-reach spot, almost "protected," and thus remains authentic, spacious, and quiet. After the initial entrance through sand and pebbles, the seabed becomes sandy, ideal for swimming and enjoying the water at your leisure.

The walk is surrounded by nature, often with cows grazing in the nearby fields, and the horizon always in sight. A rarity: this stretch of coast is accessible only via this access on foot, and for many, reaching it is difficult (if not impossible).

💦 SWIMMING POOL (above ground)

Upon returning, the house welcomes you in the best possible way: a dip, a few minutes in the sun, and time slows down again. It's the perfect alternative when you want to cool off without moving, or extend your relaxation until sunset.

Important note: The pool will be open and available from June to September/October.

🔑 HOUSE ACCESS (SIMPLE AND FLEXIBLE):

The apartment is located on the UPPER FLOOR of the building and is reached by stairs (NO elevator). Access is INDEPENDENT, to guarantee you privacy and tranquility from the very first moment.

🏠 You will have complete and exclusive access to all the interior spaces of the apartment.
The villa's common areas (swimming pool, laundry room, barbecue area, parking, and gated entrance) are shared with us, the hosts, and the guests of the other two apartments, always respecting everyone's privacy.


⏰ OPENING HOURS :
• CHECK-IN: from 3:00 pm onwards
• CHECK-OUT: by 10:00

Check-in takes place in person with our staff or directly with us hosts by 9:00 PM, so we can welcome you in person and explain everything to you calmly.

We, the hosts, Giusy and Andrea, live next door. We work during the day, but when we return in the evening, we're happy to provide support, advice, or anything you need.

ℹ️ SOMETHING TO KNOW:

• “Almost private” beach (access on foot):
To reach it, you descend along a dirt road immersed in nature (about 20 minutes downhill). The return is uphill and may require a bit of breathing space: it's part of the experience, ideal for those who love authentic and peaceful places.

• Mosquitoes and ants in the warm seasons:
Being in the countryside, mosquitoes and ants can be present during the summer months. To stay comfortable, we recommend paying attention to food (especially if left outside) and using personal repellent.

• Countryside area (car recommended):
We're in a very quiet, suburban area, yet just a few kilometers from Sciacca and the main amenities (supermarkets, restaurants, etc.). A car is highly recommended for independent travel.

🚌 NO local buses or public transport arrive in this area ❌

🛏️ USE OF EXTRA BEDS (BOOKINGS FOR 2 OR 3):

If you're staying with 2 or 3 people but would like to all sleep in separate beds, please let us know in advance so we can prepare them as best as possible for your arrival.

📜 HOUSE RULES TO KNOW AND ACCEPT BEFORE YOUR STAY:


🆔 IDENTIFICATION (MANDATORY):

After booking you will receive:
• the Link for Document Registration (ID), necessary for communication to the PS authorities (art. 109 TULPS / Alloggiati Web).


🗑️ WASTE MANAGEMENT (MANDATORY):

Separate waste collection is mandatory and must be followed according to the municipal calendar, which you will receive in the house manual and which will be explained upon check-in.
🚫 Waste should never be left inside the house, for any reason.
🕗 Every evening, you must leave the bins with the bags outside the gate, following the indicated schedule.


🚭 SMOKING:

Smoking is prohibited inside the house (including e-cigarettes). There are smoke detectors that could set off the alarm.
✅ Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas.


🚫🐾 ANIMALS IN THE POOL:
Pets are not allowed inside the pool.


👶🏼🏊‍♂️ CHILD SAFETY:
Children must be supervised at all times, especially in the pool area.
