Being a bright and airy seaside home, with outdoor spaces and openings, the rooms generally remain pleasant to live in, especially with good management of windows, shade, and ventilation during the hottest hours.
โข MOSQUITOES AND OUTDOOR LIFE
Villa Marchese is very close to the beach and has a patio, terrace, and outdoor spaces. During warmer seasons, mosquitoes and small insects may be present, especially in the evening.
It's normal in an area of sea and nature. We recommend bringing or using personal repellents, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors.
โข RENELLA BEACH AND AREA IN SUMMER
Renella beach is one of Sciacca's most popular seaside areas.
In the central summer months it can be busier, especially during the central hours of the day, on weekends and during high season.
The great advantage of the house is being able to walk to the beach and return whenever you want, without having to rely on a car or find a parking space.
โข DETACHED HOUSE, BUT IN A RESIDENTIAL CONTEXT
Villa Marchese is a detached house with private access and exclusive use of its spaces.
However, it is located in a residential seaside area: we therefore ask for respect for the neighbors, especially in the evening and at night.
๐๏ธ CHOICE AND USE OF ROOMS:
For bookings of 2 guests, only one double room is normally prepared.
If you'd like to use multiple rooms, have separate beds, or even prepare the attic bedroom, please let us know before your arrival.
We will still send you a reminder message to help us better organize ourselves based on your needs.
๐ HOUSE RULES TO KNOW AND ACCEPT BEFORE YOUR STAY:
๐ CONTRACT + ๐ IDENTIFICATION (MANDATORY):
After booking you will receive:
โข the Tourist Rental Agreement to be signed digitally โ we use the written form as required for rental agreements (L. 431/1998, art. 1 c.4 + DL 50/2017).

๐ถ SECURITY DEPOSIT:
For added protection, a โฌ300 cash security deposit is required upon arrival to cover any damage, missing items, or improper use of the property.
The deposit will be refunded upon check-out, after an inspection of the property, barring any damages or costs to be retained.

Smoking is prohibited inside the house (including e-cigarettes). Smoke detectors will sound the alarm.

Smoking is permitted on the veranda/outdoor spaces.
๐๏ธ WASTE MANAGEMENT (MANDATORY):
Separate waste collection is mandatory and must be followed according to the municipal calendar.
You'll find everything in the house manual, and we'll explain it to you at check-in.
๐ซ Never leave waste inside the house, for any reason (even for a few hours), to avoid odors and inconveniences.
๐ Every evening, you must take the bins/bags outside the main gate, to the residence's collection area (you will find the large dedicated bins).

๐ง WATER CONSUMPTION (CONSCIOUS USE):
We ask you to use water responsibly, avoiding waste and unnecessary consumption.
In Sicily, water is a precious resource, especially in the summer months: small changes make a big difference.

In some cases, the meter may trip if several energy-intensive appliances are used at the same time.
